 The war between Israel and Palestine still rages on. The war started on the 7th of October when  Hamas ( palestinian resistance group ) launched a suprise attack on Israel which shocked the whole world. Since then,  US-backed Israel has been bombarding GAZA with bombs and has destroy lots of buildings assumed to be hammas enclave or hideout.


The Israeli bombardment in the 24 hours leading up to Thursday evening has killed 307 in Gaza. The death toll has topped 3,700.

     Latest update:

  • United States President Joe Biden held an Oval Office address – usually reserved for matters of extreme importance.

  • Biden confirmed that he will be requesting the Congress to send emergency funding to Israel and Ukraine.

  • The Israeli bombardment in the central Gaza town of al-Zahra has levelled at least 10 buildings and left thousands of people either trapped in the rubble or awaiting medical care.

  • New reports suggest that the Rafah crossing, a passage for much-needed humanitarian aid into Gaza, is unlikely to open on Friday as was  earlier suggested by Biden.

  • Pointing to parallels with their own past under colonisation and apartheid, Algeria and South Africa carried out mass protests in support of Palestine.

Emirates suspends all flights to isreal

 Emirates, a well-known airline, has declared that all flights to and from Tel Aviv, Is-ráèl will be suspended. Emirates airlines  The carrier said on Friday in an official press release that they were "closely monitoring the situation in Is-ráèl " and that they were in close communication with the appropriate authorities. The airline declared, "Until further notice, customers with onward connections to Tel Aviv on Emirates flights will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin."  For alternatives, refunds, cancellations, or to rebook their flight plans, the airline advised the impacted clients to get in touch with their booking agents. "In order to receive updates, customers are requested to verify that their contact details are accurate by visiting Manage Your Booking," the company stated.
